Easy Throw Pillows

Recently after redecorating my bedroom, I wanted a couple more pillows but wasn’t sure what I really wanted that would go with my colors. Then I remembered I had some fabric left from the curtains I made for my office (Here is that Post) And I had some old throw pillows that was the perfect size, So I made me some new pillows for my bed that were so Quick & Easy to make and made a HUGE difference on my bed. Heres how to make them.

You Will Need:
Fabric of your choice, I used about 1 Yard for my 2 pillows
Tape Measure
Old Throw Pillows

First, Measure the pillows from corner to corner

My Pillows were 18″ each side

Next, Measure your fabric and add an inch to each side (Since my pillows were 18″ I measured it at 20″ on each side)

I actually took a pencil and lightly drew a perfect square and also works as a guide for when sewing

Next, Iron the fabric to remove and wrinkles or creases

Next, Pin the fabric to hold together while sewing

Make sure while sewing the print of the fabric is on the inside

Next, Sew each side, on 3 sides, then the bottom, only sew about 1/4 on each end to leave enough space to insert the pillow through

Pull the case inside out, and insert pillow

Now sew the opening, and BAM the pillow is done.

Seems kinda too easy huh? Well its REALLY easy trust me!
