Or biscuits in this case! So everyone knows about making bread pudding (if not then this is for you too) I wanted to try something easy and quick with my biscuits I cooked this morning. So why not make a bread pudding with a twist. Everybody knows I love to put a twist on things. 🙂
So let’s get to baking.
This is what you need.
4 or 5 cooked biscuits
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cups milk
2 eggs (beaten)
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp butter
Preheat your oven to 375.
Take your biscuits and pinch and crumble them (make sure they are a medium size, not big clumps, but not little crumbs) in a rectangle glass dish
Mix your eggs, brown sugar, milk, sugar with a whisk, once mixed add vanilla, salt, cinnamon.
Pour mixture on top of biscuits. Cut the butter into thin slices and place on top. Place into oven for about 30 mins or until the bread has almost soaked up the mix. Just don’t let it over cook and get dry.
